English translation:

Pakistan: Another two Baloch political workers are arrested.

According to the Asian Human Rights Commission, two more Baloch nationalist workers were arrested in Balochistan in April.

Asian Human Rights Commission reports that Mehboob Wadhela Baloch was abducted while on his way from Karachi to Gwader in a public transport vehicle on April 2, 2010. Baloch National Front activist Mir Bohair Bangulzai of Askari Park, Quetta, is also missing after his official arrest.

Both families of the missing persons told AHRC that they tried to file a FIR (First Information Report) at Maripur Police station and Quetta Police stations, but both stations refused to lodge their FIRs.

A video recording of an eye witness who was present at the time of Mehboob Wadela Baloch's arrest was also included in a report that aired on Vsh TV News channel.

The brother of Mehboob Wadhela, Faisal Baloch, told the commission that his brother was in Karachi for kidney treatment. After the check-up, he was returning to Gwader, Balochistan, when he was arrested by a security agency. He has been missing since.

Mehboob Wadhela's brother complained that the Maripur Police station refused to lodge a FIR and instead only entered the complaint into their daily log.

The mother of Mehboob Wadhela Baloch has appealed to the Chief Justice of Sindh, Pakistan's Prime Minister and President for the release of her son.

Mir Baher Bangulzai was abducted on April 1, 2010, while driving home. He was arrested by uniformed law enforcement agents, but following the arrest, they turned him over to intelligence agents who took him away in a double-cabined vehicle.

According to the family of Mir Baher Bangulzai, the police have also refused to register a FIR.

It should be remembered that the Government of Pakistan has established a three-member commission to investigate missing persons, consisting of 1 retired Supreme Court judge and 2 judges from the High Court.
